How all of this mayhem started, Covid 19 was a virus that struck the world and took it over by storm. It gave little to no time to react. Making all things go into shutdown. Covid 19 wrecked the school year and made our school go into shutdown causing schools to do a hybrid learning schedule.Covid-19 was a virus that started in the Middle East and how respiratory syndrome (MERS) and severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) got started.Add from country to Country to City to City destroying relationships end family gatherings. Playing what hybrid was, pretty much it was a system where you would go to school one day then go be off another day go to school one day be off another day and then either you would go to school on friday or you wouldn't.
How it affected students,WE rely on our teachers for help and guidance through things we don't understand. Covid-19 being a thing it didn't allow Saveur teachers as guidance all the time we didn't have them as a resource for the we would have to figure things out ourselves which would lead to people being frustrated,crying, breaking down and having anxiety attacks not really knowing what to do or who to turn to just because some people's parents don't really care as much as some of the teachers here at Milan High School do. I've had multiple students come up to me last year and see how I was doing because they were struggling very much.Put it in a simpler way. Many Students struggled with homework because of the lack of school time. Really hard to communicate with teachers
The final part I will be talking about is how it affected teachers, many teachers had a lot of problems last year too, for instance, one of my teacher's quotes were “as a teacher thrives on the energy in the room, talking over the video was extremely difficult and energy draining.” They really mean this, many teachers need social interaction to be able to teach their students. They can’t just look at a screen and be able to tell them everything they want or be able to get their point across. We stuck to this structure throughout our whole lives to just listen to what the teacher says in school, get most of it done and then go home and have either time to relax or to get the work done that they assigned. And then it all just kind of messed up when covid came up. Cut this one similar term as well this is what this part mainly consisted of: Teachers had a hard time teaching us through video because they couldn't always get across what they wanted.
