33 receptions for 380 yards and 19 carries for 180 yards this midget can move! Jett has had one of his best years of football and it happens to be his last as a Milan Big Red senior. His stats show what this little man can do, rushing and receiving. He can do everything but be tall. “Being a captain takes more than just being good, it takes being able to teach the younger players so they can know more about the game and be better,” says Jett Isaacs. Jett had an amazing year playing wide receiver, safety, and running back. This gave him the opportunity to teach and mentor the younger kids in different positions.
He tried to show his skills at multiple positions helping them be better. “Overall Jett was pretty cold when it comes to football. He was a team captain and Undoubtedly one of our best players,” says Timothy Stapleton. It definitely wasn't hard to see Jett do good on the field. The only reason it would be hard is that he's so small running up and down the field. When he got the ball you could hear it from the student section, averaging 11.5 yards per reception. “I think that Jett had an amazing season and the one reason why he had an amazing season is that a lot of the times he popped off and he basically did better than like a lot of people expected as he got put in different positions and positions that he didn't think he'd play like tailback when he’s mainly a slot receiver and he did a really good job playing defense at free safety,” says Gustavo Saavedra. Jett shined in multiple positions showing his athleticism in the sport. He will also go on to play basketball and baseball later in the year. This tiny multi-sport athlete is a captain in all three sports. “I have played 10 years of football and it's not something I was ready for to end but all good things must come to an end,” says Jett Isaacs. Jett finishing his last year of football is not too sad for him. One reason being he expected it to come to an end. He also has two more sports to play that he is excited about. Jett is focused on basketball and baseball for now but when it comes to after high school, he’ll have to think about what he's playing for college.
Disclaimer: Jett Isaacs has given me 100% consent for the short jokes. Jett is actually 5’11 with cleats and a helmet.
