Milan High School Changes Dress code!

Milan area schools allow students to wear once-restricted items of clothing at Milan High school as part of their dress code change. In past years Milan High School has prohibited hats, hoodies, pocket chains, off-the-shoulder shirts/ tank tops, crop tops, etc., but as of 2021-22, school year administration is no longer having students remove, cover-up, or change these items if seen wearing them. Students noticed the change on August 30th, 2021, the first day of school, when new freshmen arrived with hats on. Upperclassmen were seemingly confused by the change since they weren’t presented with it. Although the change came quickly the students are adapting easily and are thrilled with this big change for Milan High Schools.
