Milan's Homecoming Celebration Comes Back In Full Swing

After a long treacherous year, Milan High School gets to participate in a full-blown homecoming celebration. There's spirit week, photo booths, pep rallies, parades, and good old American football. Everyone is excited for the festivities to begin. Following the first-day seniors are in the lead for spirit days. Voting for king and queen opened yesterday which everyone was ecstatic to do. The senior court nominees are; Delaney Higgins, Lauren Fairbanks, Lauryn Obey, Vanessa White, Adam DuBois, Evan Budd, Jack Function, and Timothy Pietryka. The court representatives for the class of 2023 are Allison Millina and Wiliam Walline, 2024 are Payton Hull, and Kenny LaPorte, 2025 are Emma Budd, and Caden Fairbanks. We get to find out who the king and queen are during halftime at the football game against the Flat Rock Rams so make sure to cast your vote! The court nominees and representatives get to ride in a car during the parade while the entire town gets to cheer them on. After the parade, the whole town will meet in the Milan gates to cheer on the boys and the cheerleaders for kickoff at 7:00 p.m. Following the game, the Big Reds won 43-8 and our king and queen for the 2021-2022 school year are Lauren Fairbanks and Evan Budd! Who is your Big Red?
