Students at Milan High School are involved in many clubs and sports throughout their four years here. I, myself have been involved in many clubs, sports, and activities during my time at Milan High School along with other students. Senior Evan Budd has shown just that here during his time at Milan High School.
Evan has been involved in Milan’s football and track programs and has played a key part in both programs. Evan is on both the starting Offensive Line and Defensive Line for Milan’s Varsity football team. He also is one of the top shot put throwers for the boy's track team. I asked Evan a couple of questions. The first one was, “If you could pick one of the sports to be your favorite, which one would it be?” and Evan responded with, “Out of the two favorite sports, football has to be my favorite.”
Moreover, not only is Evan involved in football but like I stated before he is one of the top shot put throwers for the boy's track team. As you can see he is very involved with sports and his peers. Next, I asked Evan, “What drove you to throw in middle school?” Evan said, “My dad threw a shot in high school and I thought I would give it a try and I ended up really liking it.”
The last question I asked Evan was “What is your favorite part about being involved in school sports?” He said, “I think the best part about being involved in sports is being able to play sports with your friends and people that enjoy the same things as me.”
Overall, Evan has shown that he is very involved within the Milan community and sports. He has shown his dedication by being involved in both of these programs for not only his four years at Milan High School but also years prior to that.
