The MHS Band and Drumline are Playing During Homecoming

The Milan High School band is going to be playing during the homecoming pep rally. They will first start playing in the rotunda during the beginning of 7th hour. The day the band will be playing is Friday, September 24, 2021. The band will be playing to get all of the students excited for the homecoming football game so everyone can enjoy the most exciting time of the year. The marching band will be playing ‘’Seven Nation Army'' in the rotunda, loudly. That is one of the most epic things during the whole school year that everyone looks forward to listening to. The community expects something big from the band every year. The band always loves seeing the bright smiles on the community’s faces. It feels really good when you make people feel good. The community always has a big expectation of the band. When the band fulfills that expectation, they will compliment them on that. If the band disappoints, then there will be some emails heading towards Mrs. Upton, which she doesn’t appreciate getting. There isn’t much she can do besides trying to help the kids discipline themselves.

The drumline is going to be doing their usual songs that everyone gets excited for during the pep rally. Mrs. Upton will be conducting during the pep rally on Friday like she usually would be doing during homecoming. The marching band is going to be playing a lot of songs during the pep rally, so they are going to have to be pretty conditioned. The Marching band will be playing during the pep rally, the homecoming parade, and the football game. There are going to be a lot of tired bodies after the football game on Friday, September 24. The marching band has come a long way over the years, according to Mrs. Upton. The band has really improved in size and skill over the years because of the strength and determination of all of the band members. If the band didn’t practice all the time, they wouldn’t be as good as they are right now, which wouldn’t make the Milan community very happy. The Milan band does not want to let the community down.
