The Milan High School’s yearbook is having a great year so far.
This year’s yearbook theme is Carpi Diem, define your moments and seize them.
”I'm really excited about it because it's all about like defining what your moments are that make you feel happy and make you feel successful and so thinking about that like we all have different things that we get excited about and so being able to highlight those and to find those moments for high students,” Mrs. Keel said.
34 students are working on this year’s yearbook and have sold 171 yearbooks so far.
“34 which is a blessing and a curse but it's also a lot of input that a lot of different social groups and things like that can have,” Mrs. Keel said, “so far we have sold 171 books so we're getting close we're almost halfway to our goal.”
It will be released to seniors at senior breakfast and the rest of the school during the last week of school.
“I am really excited because there is a whole room of books that people have not picked up from years and years and years because they're not given at the end of the school year so I'm really excited to get books into people's hands I am also so excited to be able to see people look at that one of the parts that I guess like that I feel like I missed out on being able to watch people enjoy them.”
